The Gainesville Sun released its Big-School All-Area Girls Basketball Team, with Bradford’s Ar’Nayshia Griffin being a first-team selection.
Griffin, a sophomore forward, averaged 17.2 points per game, which ranked her sixth in Class 3A. She averaged 11.2 rebounds per game (fifth in 3A) and had 11 double-doubles (12th in 3A).
Bradford senior guard Jada Hankerson was named to the second team after averaging 13.8 points per game and 3.8 steals per game.
