3 exhibit best-overall 4-H projects at Bradford Fair

Anna Conner, Summer Crews and Mckynzie Stopka received best-overall awards for 4-H projects they exhibited at the Bradford Agricultural Fair.

The following results don’t include table setting, which was covered in the March 10 issue of the Telegraph-Times-Monitor.

Conner and Crews earned their awards in the senior division — Conner in the area of photography and Crews in the area of paintings and drawings.

Stopka earned best-overall in the junior division in the area of jewelry.

In the senior division, Ally McElhenny earned best in area in photography, while Harley Smith earned best in area in creative arts.

Smith received four other blue ribbons: two in photography, one in educational materials and one in decorated items. She also earned red ribbons in creative arts and decorated items as well as a white ribbon in creative arts.

McElhenny also received two blue ribbons in photography, one blue ribbon in decorated items, three red ribbons in creative arts and one red ribbon in jewelry.

Kendall Key earned a total of six ribbons in the senior division: three blue ribbons in paintings and drawings, one blue ribbon in photography, one red ribbon in photography and one white ribbon in photography. Makaila Hedrick earned four ribbons in photography: one blue, two red and one white.

Senior-division participant Alexis Trautloff earned one blue ribbon and one red ribbon in clothing and textiles, while also receiving a white ribbon in photography. The senior division also included Jackson Thames receiving a blue ribbon and a white ribbon in photography, Auston McKenzie receiving a blue ribbon in creative arts and Jamie Sanford receiving a blue ribbon in photography.

Two exhibitors earned best in area in the intermediate division: Hailey Griffis in decorated items, Kaitlyn McKenzie in jewelry, Kierstyn McKenzie in paintings and drawings, and Raylen McKinney in educational materials.

Griffis earned an additional blue ribbon in decorated items as well as blue ribbons educational materials, clothing and textiles, fiber arts, jewelry and cake decorating. She also received one red ribbon each in jewelry and decorated items.

Kaitlyn McKenzie earned an additional blue ribbon in jewelry as well as a red ribbon in jewelry. Kierstyn McKenzie received an additional blue ribbon in paintings and drawings as well as a red ribbon in paintings and drawings.

George Wyatt Folsom earned nine ribbons in the intermediate division: two red in photography, two red in educational materials, one red in woodworking, three white in paintings and drawings, and one white in photography.

Jeffrey Eaves and Natalie Thames each received seven ribbons in the intermediate division. Eaves’ ribbons were: one blue in creative arts, one blue decorated items, three red in decorated items and two red in creative arts. Thames’ ribbons were: one blue in photography, four red in paintings and drawings, one red in photography and one white in paintings and drawings.

The intermediate division had the following earn one ribbon each: Hunter Brewster, blue in educational materials; Case Clemons, blue in photography; Lily Conner, blue in photography; Shalin Hannah, blue in educational materials; Maddison Lee, blue in photography; Sarah Simmons, blue in photography; and Zane Vandruff, white in paintings and drawings.

Will Conner received best in area in photography in the junior division, which also included participant Emma Griffis earning six ribbons: one blue in creative arts, three red in decorated items and two red in photography.

Dempsey Bradley and Sadie Tew each earned five ribbons in the junior division. Bradley’s ribbons were: two blue in creative arts, one blue in food and nutrition, one red in creative arts and one red in paintings and drawings. Tew’s ribbons were: three red in paintings and drawings and two red in decorated items.

The junior division also included Isabella Trautloff earning two red ribbons and one white ribbon in paintings and drawings, and one red in creative arts, while Avery Gardner earned three red ribbons in photography.

Branton Clements (red), Halen McKinney (blue) and Saylor Rhoden (red) each earned one ribbon in educational materials in the junior division.

Cloverbuds

The youngest 4-H members, called Cloverbuds, aren’t old enough to compete, but they can gain experience by entering projects and receiving green participation ribbons.

Cloverbuds, the areas they participated in and the number of projects in those areas were: Kessler Bradley, creative arts (3), paintings and drawings (1) and food and nutrition (1); Jackson Brewster, educational materials (1); Evelyn Rose Folsom, photography (3), educational materials (2), jewelry (2), food and nutrition (2) and fiber arts (1); Easton Griffis, paintings and drawings (2), jewelry (1) and decorated items (1); Annabell Hughes, fiber arts (1), decorated items (1) and jewelry (1); Lily Kate Hughes, decorated items (3), fiber arts (1) and jewelry (1); Dalton Hedrick, photography (1); and Garrett Lee, photography (1).
