The Bradford County Education Foundation will host its annual Leave a Legacy event on Thursday, Aug. 13, at 6 p.m. at Starke’s Madison Street Baptist Church.
This year’s honorees are Melba Johnson, Shirley Mangol and Louette Smith.
Tickets, which are $30, include dinner and can be purchased from any BCEF board member or via the BCEF Facebook page (www.facebook.com/BradfordCountyEducationFoundation) with Cash App.
Leave a Legacy, which honors those for their impact on students and the community, also includes the Dessert Dash, an additional fundraiser for BCEF. Guests will pool their monies as they try to make their table among the highest bidders for the chance to “dash” for their preferred dessert.
The Bradford County Education Foundation is a nonprofit that raises funds for schools through the efforts of its volunteer members. It has been supporting Bradford schools since 1990.
