At a recent meeting of the Lake Butler Woman’s Club, members were awarded membership pins for service. Betty Emerick and Harriett Maines were recognized for their 50 years of service to the community and the club. Joining the club in 1975, they have been in continuous service since that time. Both have served in many offices in the club, including treasurer and president. Second Vice President and Membership Chairperson Lisa Huggins, and current President, Ann Hendricks, were on hand to congratulate the pair for their continuing service.
