90% of aquifer stations below normal

A St. Johns River Water Management District staff member said about 90% of monitored aquifer stations were below the normal range in May, and the districtwide Upper Floridan aquifer index closed May at 26, at the bottom of the normal range. Surface flows ranged from very low to normal, and the St. Marys River stayed in the very low range despite slight improvement.
