Indians lose close match to Trinity Christian in boys golf

Alex Addington finished atop the field, but his Keystone Heights High School boys golf team placed second behind visiting Trinity Christian on Oct. 11.

Keystone had a team score of 199, which was seven strokes behind Trinity.

Addington earned medalist honors by shooting a 41, which placed him three strokes ahead of Trinity’s Hagen Beard. Addington made par on four holes.

Nick Binet, who made par on one hole, finished fourth with a score of 50, while Hunter Sheppard, who made par on two holes, finished seventh with a score of 53. Joshua Blank shot an eighth-place score of 55.

The Indians’ Dylan Curington and Landon Spence also competed. Curington shot a 56 to finish in a two-way tie for ninth, while Spence, who made par on one hole, finished 11th with a score of 59.
