Indians fall to 1-3 in girls soccer

Keystone Heights High School was attempting to win two in a row in girls soccer, but the Indians lost 3-1 at Ridgeview on Nov. 15.

Kiersten Shaw, off a Raegan Hogg assist, scored the lone goal for the Indians, who fell to 1-3. Goalie Miranda Yow made 14 saves.

Keystone opened the season with a 9-1 loss at Columbia on Nov. 8. The Indians then played their first home match on Nov. 9, losing 7-1 to P.K. Yonge.

Shaw scored the goal against P.K. Yonge, with Yow making 17 saves.

On Nov. 12, Shaw and Elizabeth Waughon each scored two goals to lead Keystone to a 5-0 win over host Crescent City.

Parker Collins scored a goal as well, while Kendall Gagnon recorded three assists. Waughon and Alee Horton each had one assist.

Yow finished with seven saves.

Keystone plays at Menendez tonight at 7:20 p.m. and will travel to play Suwannee on Friday, Nov. 19, at 7:20 p.m.
