The Union County Livestock Association raised $10,700 at its Nov. 4 fundraising dinner and auction, which were held at the Union County Agricultural Educational Building, located near the O.J. Phillips Sports Complex.

Approximately 230 guests — a dinner sell-out — enjoyed a fun-filled night of fellowship and bidding to raise money for UCLA scholarships, educational activities and its fair (which will be held in March) — all benefitting the local FFA and 4-H club participants.

Dinner, provided by Nannette’s Catering and Jason Stalnaker, consisted of smoked chicken, brisket and ribs, and sides of green beans, cheesy potatoes and a roll. Nannette’s famous banana pudding was served for dessert.
