Bradford High School is set to again host the annual Lake Area McDonald’s-Kiwanis Club of Starke Christmas Basketball Tournament, which will feature one junior varsity boys game and three varsity boys games per day on Thursday-Saturday, Dec. 16-18.
Daily admission, which enters you into drawings for prizes, is $5.
As usual, children attending the event will have the opportunity to pick an item from the Toy Table.
Bradford’s JV team will play Jacksonville’s Joshua Christian Academy to start the tournament at 4 p.m. on Dec. 16. Starke’s Northside Christian Academy will then play Jacksonville’s Hope Christian Academy at 5:30 p.m., followed by Clay taking on Jacksonville’s Paxon at 7 p.m. The night’s finale will feature the varsity Tornadoes playing Suwannee at 8:30 p.m.
Play on Dec. 17 begins with the JV Tornadoes playing Clay at 4 p.m. Joshua Christian and Northside Christian play at 5:30 p.m., followed by Hope against Paxon at 7 p.m. Bradford’s varsity team takes on Clay at 8:30 p.m.
Bradford’s JV team plays Riverside to start the final day of action at 4 p.m., followed by Clay taking on Northside Christian at 5:30 p.m. The 7 p.m. game pits Hope Christian against Suwannee, while the tournament concludes with the Tornadoes playing Paxon at 8:30 p.m.
