Curran Webb scored 22 points and grabbed 15 rebounds as the Union County High School boys basketball team defeated host Hilliard 62-59 on Jan. 11.
The Tigers trailed by three entering the fourth quarter, but then outscored Hilliard 18-12.
Cole Andersen-Davis and Gavin Jenkins scored 13 and 12 points, respectively, while Union also got eight points from Thomas Williams, five points from Quinten Rawls and two points from Kyler Cohen.
Andersen-Davis had six rebounds, while Rawls recorded seven assists. Cohen, Jenkins and Webb each had three assists.
Union fell to 5-8 on Jan. 14 with a 50-45 loss to Trenton (stats not available by deadline).
The Tigers host Baldwin on Tuesday, Jan. 18, at 7:30 p.m. and then host Fort White on Thursday, Jan. 20, at 7:30 p.m. Union travels to play Lafayette on Friday, Jan. 21, at 7:30 p.m. and then travels to play Fort White on Tuesday, Jan. 25, at 7:30 p.m.
