Caleb Moncrief and Kiersten Shaw won multiple events for the Keystone Heights High School boys and girls track and field teams, which combined to place first or second in 12 events at March 1 meet at Bradford High School.
Shaw took first in three events on the girls side, running the 100m hurdles in 18.79 seconds, clearing 4-9.75 in the high jump and recording a distance of 13-11 in the long jump.
The girls team also had a first-place finisher in Kendall Gagnon, who threw the discus for a distance of 89-6.
On the boys side, Moncrief won the shot put and discus with distances of 40-6 and 145-9, respectively.
Tyler Griffin and Shepherd Rozier won events for the boys team as well, with Griffin running the 800m in 2:12 and Rozier jumping 16-7 in the long jump.
Griffin and Rozier also had second-place finishes, with Griffin running the 1600m in 4:59 and Rozier running the 400m in 55.23.
The girls team got second-place finishes from Ella Hutchins in the 400m (1:11) and the 4x400m relay team of Shaw, Brianna Hogan, Dallas Decrosta and Hutchins (5:10).
Gagnon placed fifth in the shot put (19-11), while the girls team had two sixth-place finishes: Elizabenth Hogan in the 400m (1:16) and Taylor Goodin in the 1600m (7:19). Earning eighth-place finishes were Brianna Hogan in the 100m (15.04) and Emily Weiner in the discus (43-2).
The boys team had two fourth-place finishes from Josiah Durrenberger in the 400m (59.98) and Jaden Park in the 1600m (5:31). 200m (26.31). In the 200m, Park was fifth (26.31), while Rozier was sixth (26.32).
Tyler Duncan and Jackson Herman placed seventh and eighth, respectively, in the shot put with distances of 28-2.25 and 28-0.75, while Herman was eighth in the discus (69-10).
The boys team also had the following results: 100m — Garrett Roberson 14.85, Tristan Dukes 15.16; 200m — Durrenberger 28.15, Roberson 31.03; 800m — Jacob Stahman 2:38; 1600m — Ayden Graff 5:41, Adam Sapp 5:46; and discus —Duncan 66-2.
Keystone had the following additional girls results: 100m — Shantiriya Golden 15.93, Rebecca Lasca 16.30, Elizabeth Hogan 16.31; 200m — Weiner 34.75, Golden 35.21, Lasca 36.04; 400m — Shaylyn Williams 1:22; 800m — Goodin 3:42; and discus — Williams 43-0.
