KEYSTONE HEIGHTS— The Keystone Heights Sports Association spring baseball season kicked off on Saturday, March 5.
The league has 17 teams with over 200 players. The season runs through May 8.
KHSA Secretary Karrie Burton said the association dedicated this year’s season to educators.
She read the poem “Teachers” by William Huff and introduced to the crowd Lake Region Teachers of the Year.
Retired Keystone Heights High School baseball coach Alan Mattox threw out the first pitch.
