
Natalie Gay and Hayden Robinson exhibited the top animals in the swine show at the Bradford Agricultural Fair.
Gay’s animal was named grand champion and homegrown grand champion, while Robinson’s animal earned reserve grand champion as well as homegrown reserve grand champion.
The third- through fifth-place overall awards went to the following, in order: Kate Wainwright, Sydney Clemons and Weston Thompson.
Blake Wynn placed first in senior showmanship, with Delaney Crosby and Matthew Stafford placing second and third, respectively. At the intermediate level, it was Codi Huntley placing first, followed by Raelynn Moore and Audry Cisco. Paisley Schmitt-Theus was first in junior showmanship, while Dawson Sullivan and Julian Rhoden placed second and third, respectively.
In senior 4-H record book, Payton McKenzie and Anna Conner were first and second, respectively, while the intermediate division consisted of Trevor Clements placing first and Gavin Smith placing second. Thompson was first in the junior division, followed by Rhoden.
The Bradford FFA record-book contest saw Clemons place first at the high school level and Lakelyn Sheppard place first at the middle school level. Seth Clemons and Cassidy Spratlin were second and third, respectively, at the high school level, while Cannon Sapp and Annsley Wilkes took second and third at the middle school level.
In the Union County FFA record-book event, Gay was first at the high school level, followed by Reagan Robinson and Lyndee Griffis. Huntley was first at the middle school level, followed by Hayden Robinson and Conner Rowe.
