Moncrief, Gagnon earn 2nd-place spots for Indians at Don Hall meet

Keystone Heights High School got a pair of runner-up finishes from Caleb Moncrief and Kendall Gagnon at the April 1 Don Hall Track and Field Invitational at Orange Park High School.

Moncrief earned his second-place finish in the discus with a distance of 134-1. He also placed third in the shot put with a distance of 44-5.25.

Gagnon was second in the javelin with a distance of 99-4. She also placed sixth in the discus with a distance of 85-1.

Tyler Griffin also earned a top-eight finish, placing fifth in the 1600m with a time of 4:49.

Kiersten Shaw placed ninth in the long jump with a distance of 15-2.

Moncrief competed at the April 1-2 Pepsi Florida Relays at the University of Florida, placing sixth in the high school discus event with a distance of 141-5.
