Bradford County Faith Community Center is taking applications for this year’s iAM STEM Summer Camp. Camp dates are June 20 – July 22, Monday through Friday, 7:30 a.m. – 5:30 p.m. The cost is $100 a week unless you apply for a scholarship. The weekly cost could be $70 or $40. The last day to register is June 10.
You can register and apply for a scholarship online at www.iamstemcamps.com. There is a one-time $60 registration fee. The registration fee will cover the personal STEM bag, T-shirt and supplies for your child. Free breakfast and lunch are provided by Bradford County School District.
The camp features reading, science (science labs and experiments, gardening), technology (using Chromebooks and laptops), engineering (architecture, electrical circuits, rocketry), math (it’s integrated within the science, technology, and engineering), arts and crafts, sending mail to outer space, hands-on CPR training, and social-emotional learning. The staff consists of teachers, paraprofessionals, an occupational therapist and a Meridian counselor.
