The Bradford Rookie All-Star team continued its strong play in tournaments, capturing the district championship and earning its way to the state tournament, which will be held in Lake City. Bradford, which had won its three previous tournaments, defeated Keystone Heights 9-2 before recording two straight wins over Williston by scores of 17-2 and 9-5. The 9-5 win resulted in the first district title in four years.
