KEYSTONE HEIGHTS— Legacy Home Health Care has purchased the former home of Watson Realty on State Road 21 north of Keystone Heights.
The transaction closed on May 31 with the assistance of Hatch Realty Service’s Matt Merritt.
Owners Chris and Betsy Murphy started the home health service in honor of Chris’s father, who was a highly decorated U.S. Marine and had a vision of starting a home health agency for seniors.
However, he died in 2013 of cancer.
Legacy will be moving its Lake Region operations from 445 South Lawrence Boulevard. The business also has an office in Starke and recently expanded into the Ocala area.
