Allow me to introduce myself. My name is Christiann Hudson, and I am announcing my candidacy for Bradford County Commissioner District 4 as a Republican.
As a longtime resident of Bradford County, it has been my privilege to support the efforts of its citizens in many ways. As a Bradford High alumnus, I have strong ties to the community, this is my home. My husband and I are raising our family here; we have relatives all throughout the county and have worked, played and worshiped here most of our lives.
I began working for the county in 2006 as a clerk and administrative aid, moving through many aspects of the county administration until I was selected for the position as code enforcement officer and addressing/mapping specialist for the Bradford County Sheriff’s Office.
In 2021, the needs of my family made it a difficult but necessary decision for me to pass my role at the sheriff’s office to someone else so that I could guide and nurture my children during their developing years.
As my family has grown, the time to reflect on the current state of affairs has made me aware that another family is in need of my guidance. That family is composed of the citizens of Bradford County, and it is every bit as important to me as the husband I love and the children we are raising. As commissioner for District 4, I will devote my efforts to finding financial stability and help develop solid budgets that will aid in the economic growth for the family that we want to grow and nurture.
The most important part of that commitment is the one of communication. Without a voice, changes can’t be expressed. Without real contact nothing can be improved. Of course I have ideas on what needs to be worked on, but I also need to hear your ideas and concerns.
This is about my working for you, to get this family on the path of economic growth, healthy development, and the pursuit of happiness.
