KEYSTONE HEIGHTS— The city held an open house at the beach pavilion on Aug. 2 displaying planned improvements to Keystone Heights Elementary School. The event follows a presentation to city council members by architect Paul Stressing outlining the planned construction of a new cafetorium, the conversion of the current cafetorium into a media center and the conversion of the current media center into a six-classroom suite.

Also on display during the open house was the master plan for the school which includes replacing the campus’s 65-year-old classroom buildings and getting rid of the school’s portable classrooms.
