KEYSTONE HEIGHTS— Former Keystone Heights High School Assistant Principal Don Cowper has been appointed principal at Madison Consolidated High School in Madison, Indiana. The community is near the Kentucky state line, between Cincinnati and Louisville.

Cowper served as the assistant and Title IX coordinator at KHHS during the 2021-2022 school year.

The Indiana native told a local radio station that he and his wife, Sarah, decided to explore options closer to home at the end of the last school year.

“We are both from the Midwest, and while Florida is a great place to visit, we knew we wanted to get closer to home if and when the right opportunity arose,” Cowper told WIKI. “We were able to spend a bit of time around the area, and this community is the perfect place for us.”
