KEYSTONE HEIGHTS—Abandoned Treasures Thrift Store reopened on Tuesday, Aug. 16 at the corner of Firetower Road and State Road 21.
The building was occupied for more than 50 years by Leonard’s Outboard, owned by retired FHP trooper Leonard Jones.
Jones also served as Chief of Police for Keystone Heights from 1975 to 1982, before the city turned over law enforcement duties to the Clay County Sheriff’s Office.
Owner Kerry Cook cut a ribbon on her new location. Cook incorporated the building’s previous life by converting a boat on the property’s front yard into a planter.
