Bradford High School had three finish in the top half of the field in the varsity girls race at the Sept. 24 Suwannee Invitational in Live Oak.
Lindsey McCoy placed 32nd out of 70 with a time of 25:37, while Natalie Thomas and Alissa Reddish placed 33rd and 34th, respectively, with times of 25:39 and 26:18.
Mackenzie Austin and Layne Loper had times of 32:17 and 32:54, respectively.
The boys race featured Bradford’s Koy Hartley and Kayden Lee, who ran times of 22:28 and 28:40, respectively.
Bradford’s Tucker Griffis placed seventh out of 19 in the middle-school 3K boys race with a time of 12:58. The race also included Ethan Ansley (14:59), Andrew Warren (15:01), Trevor Bedell (15:57) and Mason Scoggins (18:08).
Anna Adkins and Tinsley Fortune placed eighth and 11th, respectively, in the 24-member middle-school girls race. Adkins had a time of 14;02, while Fortune had a time of 14:53.
The race also included Dakota Thornton (17:58) and Autumn Dilung (19:34).
BHS runners competed in the Sept. 20 Dwayne Cox Invitational in Interlachen, with boys team member Jaleel Easley placing 23rd out of 78 with a time of 22:40.
Hartley ran the race in 25:51, while Lee and Hayden Starling had times of 30:34 and 30:56, respectively.
In the 56-member girls race, Reddish placed 14th with a time of 28:25, while McCoy placed 22nd with a time of 30:54.
Austin also competed, running a time of 37:27.
