KHHS boys golf team improves record to 9-5

Kenneth Guy had an eagle and tied for medalist honors in the Keystone Heights High School boys golf team’s win over host P.K. Yonge on Oct. 6 in Gainesville.

Guy, who made par on four holes, and P.K. Yonge’s Ian Lentz each shot a 37.

Keystone finished with a team score of 163, which put the Indians 21 strokes ahead of the Blue Wave.

Alex Addington, who made par on six holes, placed third with a score of 39. Nick Binet and Ty Mitzel were fourth and fifth, respectively, with scores of 43 and 44. Binet made par on three holes, while Mitzel made par on five.

Jacob Beach shot a seventh-place score of 48, while Logan Spence, who made par on one hole, shot a 10th-place score of 52.
