Bradford High School’s volleyball team, as the fifth seed in the District 3-3A tournament, swept fourth-seed Taylor County and top-seed Palatka to reach the championship match, which will be played Thursday, Oct. 20, at Palatka High School at 7 p.m.
The Tornadoes (6-9) will play either second-seed P.K. Yonge or third-seed Crescent City. If Bradford wins, it will advance to the regional playoffs.
Bradford, which won three of its final four regular-season matches, opened tournament play with a win over Taylor County on Oct. 17. The Tornadoes then defeated Palatka on Oct. 18.
The Telegraph-Times-Monitor, despite requests, has been unable to obtain Bradford stats this season.
