KHHS boys soccer team beats Palatka

Goalkeeper Carson Eatmon made six saves, including one on a penalty kick, as the Keystone Heights High School boys soccer team rebounded from its first loss by defeating host Palatka 2-0 on Friday, Nov. 18.

Luke Brunt and Luis Perez each scored a goal as the Indians improved to 2-1. Micah Wiley assisted on one of the goals.

The Indians were coming off a 3-1 loss at Christ’s Church Academy on Nov. 14. An Aaron Wiley goal off a Logan Spence assist helped Keystone enter halftime tied at 1-1.

Eatmon made 10 saves.

Keystone travels to play West Nassau on Tuesday, Nov. 29, at 7:20 p.m. The Indians the play Crescent City on the road on Thursday, Dec. 1, at 7 p.m.

On Monday, Dec. 5, Keystone travels to play Trenton at 7 p.m. The Indians then travel to play District 4-3A opponent Fort White on Tuesday, Dec. 6, at 7:30 p.m.
