KHHS boys soccer team rebounds with 7-2 victory

Four days after suffering a 5-0 loss at Crescent City, the Keystone Height High School boys soccer team got three goals and two assists from Skylar Kedgley in a 7-2 win at Trenton on Dec. 5.

Logan Spence scored two goals, while Pelayo Martinez and Aaron Wiley each had one.

Martinez and Spence also had one assist each.

The Indians (4-2) played at West Nassau on Nov. 29, getting three goals from Spence in a 6-0 win.

Kedgley had two goals, while Wiley had one.

Gabe Buchanan led the team in assists with two, while Keystone also got one each from Kedgley, Martinez, Spence and Liam Callahan.

Goalkeeper Carson Eatmon made two saves.

The Indians travel to play District 4-3A opponent Fort White on Tuesday, Dec. 6, at 7:30 p.m. and will cap the week with a road match against district opponent Newberry on Friday, Dec. 9, at 7 p.m. Keystone then travels to play district opponent Williston on Tuesday, Dec. 13, at 7 p.m.
