
Adaleigh Wainwright, Kate Wainwright and Reese Wainwright all exhibited grand champions at the Bradford Agricultural Fair’s steer and breed shows.
At the March 8 breed show, Kate Wainwright exhibited the top animal in the commercial heifer class, while Huck Alvarez exhibited the reserve grand champion. Wainwright had another animal that placed third and received the homegrown grand championship. Shayna Durrance received the homegrown reserve grand championship.
Prizes were awarded for the top five, with Jordan Hamilton exhibiting the fourth-place animal and Wainwright, with a third animal, earning fifth place.
Adaleigh Wainwright had the top animal in the show’s American Influence class, while Addisyn Worrell exhibited the reserve grand champion. Ansley Ward earned the third-place prize.
Kate Wainwright received the prize for overall supreme heifer.
The March 9 steer show saw Reese Wainwright earning the grand championship and Alvarez receiving the reserve grand championship. Koy Hartley’s third-place steer was the homegrown grand champion, while Ansley Ward’s fourth-place steer was the homegrown reserve grand champion.
Jordan Hamilton earned prizes as well for exhibiting the fifth-place steer.

The Zedra Hamilton family’s overall-performance awards went to Adaleigh Wainwright (heifer) and Reese Wainwright (steer).
Producer awards, presented to those who raise cattle locally, went to Kate Wainwright (heifer) and Whitehead Family Cattle (steer).
Blake Conner received an award for volunteering to help out with both cattle and swine, while Durrance received the Tough Girl Award.
A new President’s Award went to Chadsity Stevens.
Showmanship
In breed showmanship, Worrell placed first in the senior division, followed by Kate Wainwright and Jordan Hamilton. Ward placed first in the intermediate division, followed by Koen Reddish and Tripp Connell. In the junior division, Adaleigh Wainwright placed first, followed by Alvarez and Shawn Ward.
In the steer showmanship contest, Jordan Hamilton placed first, Hartley and Reese Wainwright. Ansley Ward placed first in the intermediate division, followed by Berkley Reddish and Maddison Lee. Garrett Lee and Alvarez placed first and second, respectively, in the junior division.
Weight-gain and herdsman awards
Alvarez and Case Clemons placed first and second, respectively, in the weight-gain contest, while Hartley was third.
Durrance received the first-place senior herdsman award, with Reese Wainwright and Hartley placing second and third, respectively. At the intermediate level, it was Maddison Lee in first, followed by Koen Reddish and Berkley Reddish, while at the junior level, Garrett Lee placed first, followed by Adaleigh Wainwright and Nicholas Ward.
