Hope Christian Academy Head of School Terry Denmark is very excited to announce that Early Education Director Theresa Frazier has been selected as one of five top finalists for national director of the year, awarded by The Association of Christian Early Educators.
Celebrating 30 years, the ACEE conference and presentation was held April 14 and 15 in Winter Park when the top five finalists were presented, and Deborah Sutton, with 35 years of experience from Boca Raton, accepted the top award.
Frazier said, “I am so deeply honored to have been nominated for such a prestigious award. It means so much to me that the work I am so passionate about also resonates with others.”
Frazier also said she plans to continue her efforts to “touch my community with the love of Christ and look forward to continuing to advocate for positive changes in early education for as long as God will use me. I am humbled and so appreciative.”
Denmark said, “Mrs. Frazier’s Christian values are evidenced in the wisdom of her decision making, ability to handle the responsibilities of the position, and her determination to be in the center of God’s will. She firmly believes God brought her to Hope Christian Academy. It has been under Mrs. Frazier’s leadership that our Early Education Department earned ‘Schools of Excellence’ status under the Florida League of Christian Schools/International League of Christian Schools. We have also attained dual accreditation under FLOCS/ILCS and Cognia for Early Education and our KS-12.”
Donna Thornton-Roberts, ACEE 2022-2023 president said, “Mrs. Frazier commits herself not only to the development of the school, but also to the investment in the individual lives of the children, their families, and the staff. We are pleased that Mrs. Frazier was nominated and is one of the five finalists. It brings such honor and recognition to her and the families she serves.”
The Association of Christian Early Educators is dedicated to equip and empower the Early Learning community of faith.
