STARKE— Starke police arrested a 41-year-old woman after a man claimed he shoved him and she admitted to pushing the victim.
Melissa Dawn Pusateri was booked for domestic violence on April 20.
According to an arrest report, the victim told police he was moving his belongings from a bedroom he and the defendant shared into a guest bedroom when Pusateri shoved past him and dropped some clothes into a rack.
“Melissa then shoved him again using both hands,” reporting officer Tyler Layne Oliver wrote in the report. “(The victim) stated Melissa also started throwing clothes at him.”
Oliver added that, according to the defendant, the couple exchanged words, and Pusateri gave the victim a “death stare.”
“(The victim) advised he was afraid to turn his back on her,” wrote Oliver.
The officer added that after the defendant admitted to shoving the man, she was detained and placed in the back of a patrol vehicle.
