KEYSTONE HEIGHTS— Keystone Beach hosted its second watersports tournament of the year, with the Pro Watercross Liqui Moly National Tour making a two-day stop in the Lake Region on June 3-4.

City Manager Lynn Rutkowski said the event was seamless, with no traffic snarls or unexpected snafus.

The tour raced in Sebring and Panama City Beach before coming to Keystone Heights and will race in Lavonia, Georgia, in July before hosting its national championships in Lake Charles, Louisiana, and the 2023 Liqui Moly International Cup in Lake Havasu City, Arizona, the following month.

In May, the MotoSurf World Cup series returned to Keystone Beach for the second year.
