Father and son arrested in Brooker drug raid

STARKE— Bradford deputies arrested a father and son after executing a search warrant on the pair’s Brooker home.

Clem David Prescott, 70, and David Bridges Prescott, 45, were arrested on various drug charges.

According to arrest reports, when officers arrived at the Ward Street mobile home around 10:20 a.m. on Tuesday, July 18, Clem Prescott exited the house and surrendered.

Deputies found methamphetamine in the living room and in two bedrooms.  

Clem Prescott told detectives that one of the bedrooms is his while his son sleeps in the other.

Later in the afternoon, deputies received an anonymous tip that David Prescott was at a Melvin Street home in Brooker.

There, they found the defendant in the backyard and took him into custody.
