It’s wonderful to hear about the buzz of activity and excitement in Bradford County as the new school year approaches! The dedication of educators attending professional learning sessions throughout the summer demonstrates their commitment to providing the best education for their students.
Last week’s new teacher orientation sounds like a valuable experience for the teachers who are new to the district. Spending five days together to acquire skills that engage students in learning sets a positive tone for the upcoming school year. The support from various education entities such as the Northeast Florida Education Consortium, the Center for Autism and Related Disabilities, and the Florida Diagnostic and Learning Resources System shows the collaboration and community spirit in the education sector of Bradford County. It’s heartwarming to see local businesses like Capital City Bank and Grand Canyon University stepping in to provide meals and support the teachers during the orientation.
The contributions of the Bradford Education Association and the Bradford County Education Foundation in supporting teachers and providing supplies show the value placed on the educator’s well-being and the resources needed for effective teaching and learning. With such a dedicated and supportive environment, it’s no surprise that the newest teachers are feeling prepared and ready to start the school year. Parents and students can keep an eye on the Facebook pages of their respective schools for upcoming open house details.
It’s evident that the educators in Bradford County are committed to creating a positive and engaging learning experience for their students, and it bodes well for a successful start to the new year on Aug. 10.
