Bradford High School’s football team certainly had the home-field advantage when it took on Cocoa for the Class 2S state championship on Dec. 8 at Florida A&M University’s Ken Riley Field at Bragg Memorial Stadium in Tallahassee. A large crowd traveled from Bradford County to cheer on the Tornadoes, who made it to the state finals for the first time since 1985. Bradford finished as the state runner-up, losing 20-6 to reigning state champion Cocoa. All photos by Cliff Smelley.
