The Florida Department of Revenue filed sales and use tax warrants against three Bradford County businesses between November 9 and December 15.

In county records, the state agency said Country Caterers BBQ Inc. of Keystone Heights failed to pay $8,991.10 in overdue taxes, penalties, interest, and other costs.

The department issues warrants to secure payment of delinquent taxes. After recording the warrants in official records, they become liens on the taxpayer’s real and personal property in the county.

FDOR also filed similar warrants on Shawn Lamar Jenkins of Starke for $3,870.37 and McClain Motorsports LLC of Starke for $1,503.53.

The state agency filed a $1,384.53 lien for unpaid reemployment tax (previously known as unemployment tax) for Rockin V Transport Inc. of Starke.
