STARKE—Bradford deputies arrested a 25-year-old Starke woman after her brother said she tried to stab him.
Jimea Alise Tyson was arrested for aggravated assault.
According to an arrest report, the victim told deputies he was holding a phone for a friend, and his sister demanded he turn over the device to her. When he refused, she attacked him and, during the fight, drew a knife and tried to stab him.
Witnesses corroborated the victim’s account of the event, adding that the pair’s mother separated the two parties and calmed down the defendant.
Deputy Anthony Drew wrote that Tyson declined to talk about the incident without a lawyer present.
