Bradford Middle School outscored Keystone Heights 34-10 in the first half en route to a 53-20 win in the quarterfinals of the Suwannee Middle Athletic Conference boys basketball tournament on Jan. 22 in Keystone.
The third seed Tornadoes will take on second seed Lake Butler in a semifinal game on Tuesday, Jan. 23, at 7 p.m. in the Keystone Heights High School gym.
Bradford outscored the sixth seed Indians 18-5 in the first quarter, with Caiden Carn making two three-pointers and scoring eight points. Dylan Ruise had six points in the quarter.
Carn had four points in the Tornadoes’ 16-point second quarter as he would go on to finish as the game’s leading scorer with 14 points.
Terrence Slocum scored five points in the second quarter and had six in the third to finish with 13 points.
Ruise finished with eight points, while Bradford also got six points from Damarion Dodd and two points each from Marcus Hankerson, Kaedan Parks and Azariah Taylor.
Keystone got eight points from Steven Carter, with six coming from two three-pointers in the third quarter.
Hunter Crumpton added seven points for the Indians, who also got three points from Donald Hill (off a three-pointer) and two from Aiden Wossilek.
