A trio of applications for minor subdivisions was approved by Bradford County commissioners Monday.

A minor subdivision contains nine or fewer lots according to the county’s land development regulations. They don’t have the same infrastructure requirements for road construction. Most of the lots will be accessed via existing county roads.

According to Zoning Director Randy Andrews, the B&H Farms subdivision is located between Southwest County Road 100A (Edwards Road) and the Starke bypass where Holtzendorf Farm was once located. Access to the nine lots will be from Edwards Road.

Hunter’s Acres will be a minor subdivision on Southwest C.R. 18 between Hampton Lake and C.R. 227, and access to the six lots is from the highway.

The Refuge is another nine-lot subdivision. It is also on Southwest C.R. 18 between Brooker and New River. An easement from the highway will be used to access the lots. Andrews said the developer was aware this would not be a county-maintained road.

Each of the new plats was unanimously approved.
