
Cyndy Weeks and Elijah Sapp earned best-overall rosettes in the adult and youth divisions, respectively, for their arts-and-crafts projects at the Bradford Agricultural Fair.
Weeks received her rosette in the dolls-cloth area for her Raggedy-Ann doll. Sapp’s award was for a star with lights in woodwork.
Sapp was one of six who entered projects in the youth division. Apphia Cook had four entries that all earned blue ribbons: a lantern done in charcoal, a peach done in watercolors, an eagle flag done in pen/pencil and a dirt bike in miscellaneous.
Abigail Cook received blue ribbons for three projects: “Sunrise on the Atlantic” in color photography, “Drinks on the Roof” in black-and-white photography and “Blaze of Fire” in miscellaneous.
Adrrenna Robinett earned blue ribbons for a wood-carved buck and a glass-art Florida shadowbox in recycled oddities.
Nicholas Ward earned two blue ribbons as well, both in the area of miscellaneous: a paper-mache volcano and a tumbled-rock ring.
Ezra Cook entered three projects, with a color photo of a torch with sunset receiving a blue ribbon. Cook received white ribbons for a black-and-white photo of a rose as well as a clouds-at-sunset miscellaneous entry.
Three earned multiple blue ribbons in the adult division, including Sheila Jackson, who had three. Jackson’s projects were a napkin-transfer painted with glitter in mixed medium, a mesh wreath and quilled bees and flowers in miscellaneous.
Elisabeth Summers received two blue ribbons for a flag-garden peace totem in woodwork and a flower in recycled oddities.
Kaitlin Van Heusen also earned two blue ribbons, one for a color photo of an owl and the other in miscellaneous for turquoise earrings.
Elizabeth Cook entered one project, which received a blue ribbon: a color photo of stormy surf.
