The Bradford County Strawberry Festival is back, and it’s time to mark your calendars for a weekend filled with fun, flavor, and festivities.
Scheduled to take place March 23 and 24, this beloved annual event promises a delightful experience for all ages, celebrating the deliciousness of Bradford berries. Saturday hours are from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m., and Sunday hours are from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Hosted in Starke at the Bradford County Fairgrounds, the Strawberry Festival is a cherished tradition that brings together locals and visitors alike to revel in the joys of community, agriculture and, of course, strawberries.
This year’s festival is expected to be bigger and better than ever before, with a lineup of activities and attractions designed to delight attendees of every taste and interest. There is no fee to enter, and the Sheriff’s Explorers will assist with parking for a suggested donation to support their summer training camp.
From live music performances featuring local talent to rides and activities for the kids, there will be no shortage of entertainment options to keep the whole family entertained throughout the weekend.
Some new attractions include acrobatic performances by Cirque Adventure who have been brought in for three show each day. The festival has also announced Blacksmith demonstrations and the return of the Saturday car show.
Food enthusiasts will be in for a treat as they sample an array of strawberry-inspired culinary delights, including freshly picked strawberries, strawberry shortcakes and more. But there will also be a variety of different food vendors to try, so festival organizers suggest you come hungry and ready to eat.
In addition to the delectable treats and entertainment, the Bradford County Strawberry Festival will also feature an arts and crafts market showcasing the talents of new and returning vendors. Attendees will have the opportunity to browse a diverse selection of handmade goods, including unique jewelry, artwork, clothing and home décor items, making it the perfect place to find one-of-a-kind treasures to take home.
Each year, the Strawberry Festival is both an opportunity to come together as a community as well as show off the best of what Bradford County has to offer. The festival is made possible thanks to the generous support of sponsors and volunteers who work tirelessly to ensure its success year after year. Their dedication to preserving this beloved tradition contribute to making the festival a highlight of the community calendar.
