
Kaitlyn McKenzie, Kierstyn McKenzie and Shawn Ward received best-overall awards in their respective age divisions for the projects they submitted for the Bradford County 4-H display at the Bradford Agricultural Fair.
A paper-mache shark earned Kaitlyn McKenzie the top award in the senior division. In all, she entered three projects that earned blue ribbons. The other two were for dinosaurs in the area of decorated items.
Kierstyn McKenzie’s painting of flowers earned best overall in the intermediate division. She also received a blue ribbon and best in area for a sunset embroidery in fiber arts as well as an additional blue ribbon for a painting of flowers.
The intermediate division had two other exhibitors in Nicholas Ward and Adaleigh Wainwright.
Ward earned three best-in-area awards for a photo of a hen, a tie-dyed shirt and a tumbled-rock key chain. He received an additional blue ribbon for a photo of a dog.
Wainwright received a blue ribbon for a photo of a bull, while her Brahman painting earned a red ribbon.
Shawn Ward entered four projects in the junior division, with his photo of a flower earning the division’s best-overall award. He received an additional two best-in-area awards for a tie-dyed shirt and a tumbled-rock keychain.
Ward received a red ribbon for a photo of a cow.
