Bradford High School competed in the March 22 Middleburg Bronco Track and Field Invitational, with boys team member Jaleel Easley winning the 400m and placing third in the 110m hurdles.
Easley ran the 400m in a time of 52.89 and completed the hurdles event in 19.2.
The boys team got a runner-up finish from Parviele Lee, who had a distance of 38-4.75 in the shot put.
Elijah Lawrence and Brayden Smyth each earned a fourth-place finish, with Lawrence running the 200m in 24.29 and Smyth jumping 18-6.5 in the long jump.
The boys also got a fifth-place time of 45.96 from Lawrence, Justin Hall, Trejan Tyson and Branden Williams in the 4x100m relay and a sixth-place time of 11.85 in the 100m from Williams.
Other boys results: 100m — Hall 12.37, Maurice Green 13.11; 200m — Easley 25.04; and 800m — Krystian Harris 2:35.
Bradford got two eight-place finishes in the girls events, with Diamond Feguson running 13.86 in the 100m and Madison Miller throwing the javelin a distance of 46-11.5.
The Tornadoes also had the following girls results: 100m — Kendell Shanks 13.91, Ja’Myrah Newsome 15.73; 200m — Ferguson 29.51, Newsome 33.7; 400m — Lysa McKenzie 1:29; 100m hurdles — Miller 23.5; and long jump — McKenzie 12-10.75.
Prior to the meet, Bradford competed in the March 16 Columbia High School Invitational, with the boys team winning three events.
Easley ran a first-place time of 52.42 in the 400m, while also placing fifth in the 110m hurdles with a time of 19.07. Tyson took first in the high jump by clearing 5-8, while Elijah Kellum won the long jump with a distance of 21-10.5.
Kellum was also runner-up in the 100m with a time of 11.23.
The boys 4x100m team had a fourth-place time of 44.36, while Smyth was fifth in the long jump with a distance of 18-11.5.
Other boys results: 100m — Williams 11.78, Lawrence 11.79, Tyson 12.46; 200m — Easley 24.91, Hall 25.6, Ezra Green 32.7; 400m — Jordan Barton 56.2, Green 1:12; and 800m — Harris 2:33, Hayden Starling 2:43, Andrew King 2:43.
Shanks earned a runner-up finish for the girls team with a time of 13.72 in the 100m. The girls also placed second in the 4x100m relay with a time of 53.27.
Kaelyn Booker placed third in the 400m with a time of 1:06 and fourth in the 100m hurdles with a time of 21.19.
Ferguson ran a third-place time of 28.63 in the 200m and a seventh-place time of 13.93 in the 100m.
Other girls results: 100m — Jordynn Littles 14.56; 200m — Melissa Harding 31.24, Newsome 34.7; and long jump — McKenzie 11-5.5.
Boys team member Kellum competed in the March 21 Santa Fe Raiders Mini Meet 2, winning the triple jump (47-6.5) and placing third in the 100m (11.21).
