Bradford deputies arrested a 35-year-old Starke woman after witnesses claimed she harassed patients at a Starke emergency department, refusing to leave and accusing one patient of being a terrorist.
Sholeke Lomeke Merriweather was arrested for disorderly conduct, resisting an officer, and making a false report.
According to an arrest report, the defendant showed up at HCA Florida Starke Emergency intoxicated, cursing loudly, and confronting patients in the facility’s waiting room.
Two deputies arrested the defendant after she refused their requests for her to leave.
Deputy Devin K. Jones wrote in the report that Merriweather initially resisted his attempts to handcuff her and told him her name was Samantha Smith.
Hospital personnel provided the officers with the defendant’s name and date of birth.
