The Clay Electric Foundation donated $13,500 to the Bradford County Communities in Schools during the foundation May grant cycle.
The foundation said Communities in Schools of Bradford County surrounds students with a community of support, empowering them to stay in school and achieve in life. It added that the grant will be used for programming to increase Bradford County students’ graduation rates.
Other recipients in the Clay Electric Foundation’s May grant cycle were Gainesville’s Celebration United Methodist Church, Saint Catherine Society of Vincent de Paul in Clay County, Catholic Charities Bureau of St. Augustine, Gainesville Thrives, The Palatka Police Athletic League, Fraser Outreach Foundation in Williston, and Renew Recovery Café in Volusia County.
