The Keystone Heights City Council moved its monthly meeting to the beach pavilion for June, trying to improve the experience for attendees.
“This is kind of a test-and-tune space,” Mayor Nina Rodenroth said of the arrangement. “We are trying to come up and create ideas for our meetings to encourage more folks to attend and to make it a better experience.”
The new venue created technical difficulties for the meeting, including the inability to livestream the event. Speakers had to share microphones. The mayor said that up to 100 people view the council meeting livestreams.
