Brunch encourages women, recognizes leaders

gathering aimed to uplift and connect women from various backgrounds, fostering an atmosphere filled with love, warmth and unity.

The event featured keynote speakers Kandice Stover and Ashley Cochran, whose stories and insights sparked meaningful conversations, providing valuable guidance on both personal and professional growth. The words of Stover and Cochran resonated deeply, encouraging women to pursue their goals with renewed vigor and confidence.

A highlight of the day was the recognition of two exceptional women who have made significant contributions to the community. Glenda Faye Johnson Ruise was honored as the Most Inspirational Mentor for her pivotal role in the life of Elijah Cohen, guiding and supporting him since his ninth-grade year.

Additionally, Janice Mortimer received the MVP Award for her unwavering dedication and encouragement, solidifying her status as the community’s biggest supporter.

The intimate setting of the event allowed for genuine connections to form. The palpable energy in the room was a testament to the open dialogue, exchange of ideas, and lasting relationships that were fostered throughout the day.
