Bradford High School’s Cody Spratlin was the medalist in a Sept. 10 boys golf match at The Country Club at Lake City that included First Christian and Union County.
First Christian topped the Tornadoes as a team with a score of 200 to Bradford’s 201.
Spratlin had a birdie and made par on five holes to finish with a score of 39. He was three strokes ahead of First Christian’s Brayden Pedersen.
The Tornadoes’ Tucker Griffis placed fourth with a score of 51, while Avery Burgin shot a 55 to finish in a two-way tie for sixth. Bradford’s Steven Carter was eighth with a score of 56.
Union’s Gavin Kuhn placed ninth with a score of 59.
Grayson Jennings, who made par on one hole, placed 10th for Bradford with a score of 60, while teammate Matthew Stafford had an 11th-place score of 61.
The Tigers’ Patrick Maxwell shot a 70 to finish 13th.
