Keystone Heights High School scored three second-half goals in a 3-3 tie against District 4-3A opponent Eastside in a Nov. 8 boys soccer match in Gainesville.
The Indians (1-1-1) trailed 2-0 at halftime, but got two goals from Aaron Wiley in the second half — one off a penalty kick and one off a Luke Brunt assist.
Brunt scored the team’s other goal.
Keystone opened the season with a 1-0 win over Class 2A Williston on Nov. 5 in Keystone. The match was scoreless until Trenton Noble headed in a free kick by Brunt in the final 30 seconds.
Goalie Elijah Ortiz made 22 saves.
On Nov. 6, the Indians traveled to play 2A Crescent City, losing 5-1. Noah Jaramillo scored the lone goal.
The Indians host district opponent Palatka on Friday, Nov. 15, at 7:20 p.m. and play again at home on Monday, Nov. 18, against Class 2A Newberry at 7 p.m.
On Tuesday, Nov. 19, Keystone travels to play 2A Fort White at 7 p.m.
