Bradford High School had two players score in double figures, while opponent Santa Fe just did reach double figures as a team in the Tornadoes’ 63-10 win in a Dec. 20 girls basketball game.
Ar’Nayshia Griffin poured in 30 points to help the Tornadoes win their eighth straight game and improve to 9-2. She also grabbed eight rebounds, blocked three shots and came away with seven steals.
Nichelle Brown scored 13 points and had four steals, while Bradford also got eight points from Nyasia Lopey, four points each from Cherish Bing and Khamyra Hankerson and two points each from Wynter Barrington and Ky’lee Johnson.
The Tornadoes return to action with a home game against Williston on Thursday, Jan. 9, at 7 p.m. Bradford then travels to play Baldwin on Friday, Jan. 10, at 6 p.m. before playing another road game on Monday, Jan. 13, against Suwannee at 7 p.m.
Bradford returns home to play Palatka on Tuesday, Jan. 14, at 7 p.m.
