The Florida Highway Patrol said a 38-year-old Keystone Heights man was killed after being struck by a Jeep within Camp Blanding on Friday, January 10.
According to an FHP news release, a 28-year-old woman from Green Cove Springs was driving eastbound on Avenue B when the collision occurred. The 2018 Grand Cherokee was traveling in the same direction as the pedestrian.
The accident occurred around 6:56 a.m. FHP said the driver remained on the scene after the crash.
