Our story, “Tallman Says Goodbye to the County Commission,” in the November 26, 2024, edition of the Telegraph-Times-Monitor, contained several errors.
In that story, we reported on a presentation to county commissioners by Bryon Foshay of Atlantic Land and Lakes about his proposed Union County development, Liberty Farms.
We misstated the speaker’s name as Brian Brown instead of Bryon Foshay and the project’s name as Liberty Acres instead of Liberty Farms.
In addition, Mr. Foshay told commissioners that his company intended to offer parcels to Union County residents before offering the land to the general public. Our story incorrectly indicated that the offer would also include homes.
Finally, when asked about the price of parcels, Foshay responded that they would likely cost between $7,000 and $15,000 an acre. Our story incorrectly stated that the cost would be between $7,000 and $15,000 per lot.
